Walking my kitten, Nero, outside on her leash. Working on leash training her, little by little. Possibly a good reference video for how to do it yourself. It is a good idea to start leash & harness training your cat from the get-go (young / in kitten-hood), because they are more likely to adapt and less likely to struggle with the idea. Adult cats tend to react more to something being placed on them, however that does not mean it will be impossible to leash train them. Give it a go, but remember to be cautious and take mind that every animal has specific needs.
